Subcontractor Terms & Conditions
By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms:
1. Insurance Responsibility
You confirm that you hold valid Public Liability Insurance and are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance cover at all times while working on behalf of BuildX Builders Ltd. You agree to provide proof of insurance upon request.
2. Independent Contractor Status
You are engaged as a self-employed subcontractor and are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and compliance with HMRC Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements.
3. Non-Circumvention / Non-Solicitation
You agree not to approach, contact, or undertake work directly for any client, customer, or associated party introduced to you by BuildX Builders Ltd without prior written consent.
This includes direct or indirect contact during and after completion of works.
4. Conduct & Site Responsibility
You agree to carry out all works in a professional manner, comply with site rules, and cooperate with other trades as directed by BuildX Builders Ltd.
5. Workmanship & Liability
You are responsible for the quality of your work and any defects, damage, or issues arising from your work. You agree to rectify any such issues at your own cost.
6. Payment Terms
Payment will only be made for agreed works upon satisfactory completion and may be subject to CIS deductions where applicable.
7. Right to Refuse Work
BuildX Builders Ltd reserves the right to refuse or terminate subcontractor engagement at any time if standards, conduct, or compliance are not met.
